Dark Phoenix is X-Men‘s saga new chapter, which explores the character of Jean Gray, played by Sophie Turner (better known as Sansa in Game of Thrones) and finally shows her alter ego, the Dark Phoenix.

The trailer starts with a regression in the past, where the origin of the uncontrollable little girl Jean’s power is explained, the incident in which her parents died and the arrival at Charles Xavier’s (James McAvoy) special school, with The End of the Doors on the background. We return to present where all the X-Men, including Magneto (Michael Fassbender), start to be worried about the mutant girl that often doesn’t know to manage her power.

Dark Phoenix is directed by Simon Kinberg, producer and screenwriter of three films of the saga and sees the long-awaited return of other key characters such as Mistica, played by Jennifer Lawrence, Bestia (Nicholas Hoult) and Tempesta (Alexandra Ship).
