At the Boissy-le-Châtel gallery, one hour east of Paris, a snake run was set up in partnership between MLB architects and Bureau D. Apheceix, using a series of free-form techniques that allow the structure to blend in with the surrounding landscape.
The Carhartt WIP team skaters visited the facility offering their interpretation of the reinforced concrete snake run.
The tricks of Carhartt’s boys were captured by Maxime Verret‘s photo camera and Romain Batard‘s camera.
The resulting images are currently on display at Galleria Continua under the title CONCRETE CATHEDRAL.
To accompany the project was released a capsule collection already available, consisting of three T-shirts and three decks characterized by graphics that represent the 3D rendering of the structure and the large-scale publication of a magazine, also entitled CONCRETE CATHEDRAL, which includes images of the project plus an essay by architect and writer Jack Self.
