Soft colors and simple shapes, these are the characteristic features of Chiara Ghigliazza‘s illustrations. 
Born in 1990, Chiara Ghigliazza is a freelance illustrator from Milan. Her path has seen her first take a degree in engraving at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and then attend a master’s degree in Editorial Illustration. It is in this field that she has distinguished herself for some years now, collaborating with Italian newspapers such as La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera and Donna Moderna, as well as international publications such as Compass and The New York Times. 

Her ability to translate into images formed by a few essential elements is perfectly suited to media such as magazines and journals, where illustrations of easy interpretation are always preferred. 

But her production does not end here. Chiara Ghigliazza’s works have also proved to be perfect for books dedicated to adults and children. Among these, her participation in the BOOBS project, which uses art to inform and raise funds for charities in the fight against breast cancer, cannot go unnoticed. Together with 79 other artists, Chiara signed an illustration that was included in a picture book.
