Christina Ricci is the new face of Heaven by Marc Jacobs’ campaign

After Kate Moss, Brian Molko, Pink Pantheress and Teezo Touchdown, Marc Jacobs’ sub-label Heaven presented on its Instagram profile its latest campaign starring a pregnant Christina Ricci.
The performer of Wednesday Addams in the 1991 film The Addams Family directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, a gothic icon for an entire generation of teenagers, was portrayed pregnant dressed only in a patchwork cardigan and black panties.

The styling is by Danielle Emerson while the inspiration seems to come again from the world of cinema and precisely from Buffalo ’66, Vincent Gallo’s first feature film of 1998 which stars Gallo himself and of course Christina Ricci.

The film – of semi-autobiographical inspiration – tells the story of Billy (Vincent Gallo) who, after being released from prison for a crime he didn’t commit, kidnaps Layla (Christina Ricci) taking her to his parents’ house and forcing her to pretend to be his wife. The story branches out between revenge, redemption and awareness but if you want to know more we recommend you don’t miss this absolute gem.
