Enrico Rassu and Alessandro Simonetti followed CLUB DOGO – both on stage and backstage – documenting the ten concerts at the Forum in Assago and the historic event-date at San Siro, marking ten years since their last album. From this journey, a photo book was born, CLUB DOGO, and last week we met the two photographers to learn more about the project.

«If two rappers can sing on the same song, why can’t two photographers create a book together?». This is where Rassu’s idea came from to include Simonetti in the project, with the idea of creating a two-voice, multifaceted and polyphonic book that celebrates the national consecration of the Dogo phenomenon.
The Dogo have cemented their legacy over two decades, pulling along two generations of fans and selling out all ten dates at the Forum the day after announcing the album, on October 20th last year. The photo book, shot by two photographers from different generations, thanks to the help of a well-balanced team, captures the artistic peak of the group and provides a precious document for fans who have followed the Dogo from the very beginning.
