COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS presented its Fall/Winter 2021 collection at its Tokyo headquarters. Besides the beauty of the collection, what caught the attention of most people who attended the show were a pair of Nike Air Foamposite One in collaboration with the sub-label of the Japanese brand founded in 1969 by designer Rei Kawakubo
The COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Foamposite One have been presented in two monochrome colorways, in black and white, keeping the materials and overall shape of the original silhouette almost identical. What is striking are the circular cutouts on the side of the shoe that replace the traditional Foamposite One shapes.
The Swoosh on the forefoot also remains in its original position, a distinctive feature for one of the best-looking basketball shoes ever made by the Beaverton-based company.
Unfortunately, there is no information on any release dates or pricing but it is very likely that they will see the light of day in the second half of 2021.
