The new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Space Hippie

Converse is about to launch the most sustainable Chuck Taylor All Star ever.
Taking advantage of the new technology and design ethic of the Nike Space Hippie project, the company founded in 1908 in Malden, Massachusetts, has created a version of the iconic All Star which brings together past and future, called “Crater”.

A silhouette that has never changed in over 100 years of history, and that even this time is not distorted.
Converse has kept all the OG details, including the toe-cap, foxing tape, and pinstripe, while the recycled sole, made of Crater Foam, and the Morphlon upper (made of a blend of recycled polyester and post-industrial textile scraps that create a light and eco-friendly canvas), give the sneaker the aesthetics and concept of eco-sustainability that is the basis of the Space Hippie project. In addition, the “Chambray Blue” unit in Crater Foam is 12% Nike Grind rubber.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Crater” will be available in three colorways: charcoal, black, and white, and will be released on July 23 on
