If you don’t know Takahiro Miyashita, I suggest you make up for it. A visionary designer who came to the forefront after founding the avant-garde brand Number (N)ine, which immediately became a cult among fans. Having left the brand management in 2009, the Japanese designer wanted to express himself and his vision through a new project, the eponymous brand TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist.

Miyashita is the first designer to try his hand at an interpretation of the Converse CX Disrupt, the Japanese designer has developed two colorways of the Converse CX Disrupt x TheSoloist., one triple black, and the other triple white with characterizing elements such as “HELLO! I AM THE SOLOIST.” and the “I AM THE SOLOIST.” mark on the triangular tab on the central panel. The classic Converse patch is tone on tone placed as usual on the inside while the sole is divided into two sections, with protruding elements that give a chunky aesthetic to the sneaker.

The new Converse CX Disrupt x TheSoloist. will be available on the Converse website from March 19th at the price of €150.
