The small rectangular tattoos of EQ

Sometimes it is difficult to decide what to get tattooed. Stay on the classic with something in black and white or dare with a big colored design? The solution to this dilemma has a name, indeed it has a stage name: EQ

EQ is a South Korean tattoo artist who has more than 40 thousand followers on Instagram and has managed to impress his audience with his creations that combine color, delicacy and technique. They are, literally, small strips of landscapes, long and narrow rectangular drawings, which present a style that sometimes takes up the motifs and elements of traditional Korean art, other times it shows common objects.

So we go from ethereal landscapes, ponds, flowering trees, tigers and cranes to a little Santa Claus trying to escape, or colorful balloons ready to fly high.

EQ’s tattoos look like cracks that open in the skin and reveal distant places, daydreams.
