What’s this story about Coperni buying on Vinted?

What would you think if someone told you that a worn-out t-shirt you sold on Vinted a few weeks ago ended up in one of the most-watched shows of Paris Fashion Week? In a runway show closed by none other than Kylie Jenner. It would definitely be a story to tell your friends, who in turn would struggle to believe it. This modern-day fairy tale seems to have really happened to a French Vinted user who even had to haggle over the sale of a t-shirt. We found out about it through this post by Outlander Magazine, and we still can’t believe it.

Let’s rewind. Just a few days ago, on October 1st, during Paris Fashion Week, Coperni held a show at Disneyland Paris, reminding everyone of the charm of Disney-branded merchandise. Not long after, just over twenty-four hours, rumors started circulating that a Coperni Assistant Designer had bought a Disney t-shirt featuring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck from a Vinted user. It was used for styling one of the looks in the show.

“COPERNI even negotiated on the price, that’s so real haha,” reads the caption of Outlander Magazine’s post. And indeed, based on the evidence gathered by the famous user, it seems that’s exactly what happened. Coperni has always been able to grab attention, and in a different way, they’ve done it again—this time, not just for the collection, but also for this anecdote. A story that teaches us two things: first, that the behind-the-scenes of many fashion shows is often much less glamorous than it seems, and second, even Coperni’s Assistant Designers negotiate on Vinted.
