Movimento Gallery inaugurates the first solo exhibition of Italian artist Costantino Gucci with Self Reflections, running until October 3 at Giacosa35 in Milan. The exhibition brings together ten key works that trace the evolution of the artist’s language, from his early experiments with three-dimensional furniture objects to his most recent works in glass and mirror.

The exhibition revolves around the theme of reflection as a shifting condition, poised between perception and identity. Through sculptures, tables and mirrors, Gucci creates environments where light and the viewer’s gaze become integral to the work, transforming the reflective surface into a perceptual device capable of multiplying perspectives.

Highlights of the exhibition include the mirrors Oculus Celestia, Portal Lim, Portal Horizon, Portal Solaris and Portal 0, defined by undulating surfaces and chromatic gradients that evoke water, mirages and horizons. These are joined by the artist’s early experiments such as Presence and Sol, as well as the sculptural table series Ilior, where geometry meets the instability of reflection.

With Self Reflections, Movimento Gallery presents a body of work that marks a pivotal stage in Gucci’s research, increasingly focused on exploring the threshold where art and design overlap and redefine one another.
