The Dato DRUM, created by Dato Musical Instruments, is a simple and intuitive drum machine designed for users of all ages, from three to 99 years old, as stated on their website. The instrument features a circular sequencer that displays rhythms on the device, making music creation easier. The drum machine has eight sides, allowing multiple people to use it at the same time. The Dato DRUM includes four percussion voices, each with its own pad and an eight-step sequencer, arranged in a circular layout for immediate visualization and interaction. It is available for pre-order on Kickstarter.

In addition to the basic features, the drum machine also has MIDI and SYNC ports, allowing the Dato DRUM to connect with other electronic instruments. Users can customize sounds by uploading samples from their computer, increasing its versatility.

Following the model of the Dato DUO, a synthesizer designed for two people, the DRUM is also created to be accessible for all skill levels, making it suitable for both experienced musicians and beginners. The circular sequencer offers a simple way to build rhythms, with an intuitive and functional interface, ideal for solo use or more advanced music production settings.
