Vans has created a limited edition collection that pays homage to rock legend David Bowie, with prints and patterns reminiscent of The Thin White Duke.
Each model is an ode to a different album by David, with Space Oddity from 1969, Hunky Dory from 1971, Aladdin Sane from 1973 and Diamond Dogs from 1974. In addition to Vans, Dr. Martens and other cult footwear brands have also produced and are producing limited edition collections, including the latest from the amphibian brand Joy Division + New Order and the Sex Pistols tribute, which have proved to be very successful.
