Dr. Martens returns to Milan with a statement that speaks of comfort as an art form. After conquering the summer with the Zebzag Mules, the British brand’s iconic sole evolves and becomes the absolute star of the Fall Winter 25 season, with two new silhouettes: Zebzag Laceless and Zebzag Rigger.

Designed for those who live the city without compromising their personal style, the new models interpret the concept of comfort as a true aesthetic manifesto. The Laceless boot, inspired by the 1460, sheds its laces to transform into a soft shoe, wrapped in Wyoming leather and instantly familiar, enhanced by the unmistakable black and yellow heel loop. The Rigger ankle boot, on the other hand, lowers the fit to the ankle and draws inspiration from the industrial world, reimagined in a cozy key and offered in Wyoming leather or durable milled nubuck.

The Zebzag sole remains the heart of the project: it combines an EVA midsole and a PVC outsole for an ergonomic, cushioned, and at the same time bold result, finished with the iconic Docs yellow stitching and exaggerated sole grooves. Inside, SoftWair insoles amplify the feeling of softness, turning the boot into an everyday companion.

To celebrate the launch, Dr. Martens has chosen Milan itself as the stage. And since yesterday, September 18, the city’s red metro line has become the canvas for an ongoing customization project—an invitation to rethink urban commuting as a moment of comfort rather than a sacrifice.
