A cult 90s TV show is making a comeback with the release of a box set containing 20 DVDs (yes, DVDs. It will be released exclusively on this medium) featuring all 16 seasons that featured the show. 

The program in question is Eurotrash, and it may not say much to many of you, but between September ’93-December 2004 it was a surreal and alternative circus. Hosted by Jean-Paul Gaultier and French journalist Antoine de Caunes, the program consisted of all sorts of oddities, interviews with supermodels and celebrities of the caliber of Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, and Kylie Minogue, and where topics ranged from golf played completely nude to coiffeurs for pubic hair, to the world’s only attendant dedicated to “testing” brothels, and a host of other absurdities that took place in a brightly colored, brightly lit studio and purposely low-budget setting despite the fact that the resources spent on the production were substantial (about £400.000 per hour for the production).

A show that kicked respectability to the curb and made room for porn stars, magicians, musical groups at the limits of decency, dancing rabbits, cleaning services with completely naked workers, and a host of other things we would not expect to find in a TV show at all.
