Palace Skateboards made a completely unexpected announcement.
The British brand, through a video published on Instagram, revealed that a new collaboration is coming, this time with a company that has made quality denim its mark, EVISU.
Founded by Hidehiko Yamane in Osaka, EVISU has gained importance through the use of traditional techniques since its foundation in 1991. The name was borrowed from the Japanese god Ebisu, god of fishermen, good fortune and merchants and is one of the most revered gods in all of Japan. Represented as a chubby fisherman, his face has become one of the brand’s identifying logos.

The EVISU x Palace Skateboards capsule collection is an “affectionate tribute” to the London clubbing scene of the late ’90s, early ’00 where the presence of EVISU jeans and garments was predominant.
The collection features a series of items that refer to the Japanese brand’s tradition (selvedged jeans, tote bags, bucket hats, jackets, hoodies, T-shirts), all rigorously distinguished by the EVISU logo.
The protagonists of the video and the first images of the capsule are the Palace team skaters, Lucien Clark and Rory Milanes and the MC Skidabee.
The collection will be available from April 3rd on the Palace website.
