Born in 1978, Federica del Proposto, after graduating in Architecture, moved from radio to comics to illustration, making it a profession. In her works she relives passions and ideas and, as an active feminist, there are dozens and dozens of female figures.
With bright and vibrant lines and colors, she gives shape to landscapes and everyday situations with only women as protagonists. Women who go by boat, women in the pool, women at work, women on holiday. The strength and conviction of her ideas have reached the best representation in the series Herstory Portraits, dedicated exclusively to great women who have made history, from Coco Chanel to Amelia Earhart, trying to answer the question Can female action be more feminist than female activism?
