According to Fendi‘s announcement, Kim Jones‘ debut as the new womenswear Artistic Director of the fashion house owned by French conglomerate LVMH (Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, etc.) has been ahead of schedule. 

Originally, in fact, the first collection curated by the British designer was scheduled for February 2021 with the ready-to-wear, but according to what was anticipated by the Italian fashion house, it will debut with a show scheduled for January 27th at Palais Brongniart in Paris with the Spring/Summer 2021 haute couture. 

Not only, it will be Kim Jones’ first time as Fendi’s womenswear Artistic Director, but it will also mark the Roman fashion house’s first Spring/Summer couture collection, which returns to haute couture after missing the 2020 edition.
