In Milan, while the spotlight is firmly on the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, FILA symbolically returns home with Create for Champions, a project that is both a product launch and a cultural bridge between Italy and China.
The Italian brand celebrates its Alpine roots by unveiling two special colorway editions designed for this winter: the FILA WOLF in the new Mountain-Leaping Red variant and the FILA FUSION COMO in the Ice-Lake Blue colorway. These are new chromatic interpretations of existing silhouettes, refreshed for the winter season through a precise focus on palettes, materials, and technical details. Two special editions that bring performance to the forefront, without sacrificing an aesthetic construction consistent with the idea of “Make Performance Beautiful,” the motto that has always defined the brand’s history.

The FILA WOLF, presented this season in the new Mountain-Leaping Red colorway, is born under the sign of the mountain. The inspiration comes from the wolves of the Dolomites and their ability to move beyond the limits of snow. Here, the silhouette is reinterpreted through a palette that emphasizes the contrast between dominant black and China Red details, alongside the CHINA lettering that seals its sporting pride. The Flag logo becomes a functional element, dialoguing with the lines of Alpine ridges and the trace of a blade on ice. Completing this chromatic edition is the Vibram outsole, ensuring grip and durability on changing terrain, along with a construction designed to guarantee stability and precision.

If the WOLF looks to the peaks, the FILA FUSION COMO in its new Ice-Lake Blue variant moves across water. Once again, this is a new colorway of an existing model, developed following a trip by Robbie Fuller, Creative Director of Footwear at FILA China, to Lake Como. Here, the outdoor spirit translates into a natural flow from city to nature. The Ice-Lake Blue tone recalls frozen surfaces and high-performance suits from the FILA archive, expressed through water-resistant materials with a metallic finish, leather overlays, and a pressurized matrix support system designed to withstand low temperatures. The BOA® lacing system, inspired by winter sports equipment, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole enhance stability and traction on icy surfaces, completing this new seasonal chromatic edition.

Create for Champions, through these two special colorway editions, defines itself as a true positioning statement. During the Milan event, FILA intertwined the presentation of the new chromatic variants with Chinese New Year celebrations—tea ceremonies and calligraphy—transforming the space into an immersive experience between aesthetics and traditions. From February 7 to 14, the FILA HUB also hosted a selection of archival pieces recounting nearly fifty years of presence in winter sports, starting with the SNOW TIME line from 1981.

Alongside the heritage narrative, technology also plays a central role in this seasonal launch. FILA supports 12 teams across five countries—including China, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Canada—in disciplines such as speed skating, short track, figure skating, and curling. It is the new FILA 4810 Lingfeng Technology that is worn by China’s freestyle ski aerials team to defend its title and raise the bar once again. The same innovation, also integrated into the new winter colorways, is set to move beyond the arena and reach the public, democratizing a level of performance that does not remain confined to the Olympic stage.

As it approaches its 115th anniversary, FILA reaffirms its dual identity: Italian roots and a global vision. Through these new chromatic editions as well, the brand continues to build an imaginary where technique is never separated from form, demonstrating how color design can become a narrative vehicle just as powerful as performance.
