In the 1970s, Fiorucci turned fashion into a pop, ironic and free language (as we also saw at Triennale almost a year ago). Today, that same spirit vibrates again in a new version of one of its most iconic pieces: the Love Boots, a contemporary reinterpretation of the ankle boots that defined an era and made even rainy days glamorous.

The new Love Boots are not just a simple reissue, but a true signal sent from the brand’s past toward the idea of fashion as a space for freedom and experimentation. Born in the vibrant heart of Elio Fiorucci’s years, the original Love Boots transformed a functional accessory like the rain boot into a symbol of optimism and self-expression: ankle-length, wool-lined, and featuring their unmistakable red Fiesta kitten heel. Today they return with the same attitude, but with a sleeker shape, a glossy and fluid profile, and materials that are entirely recycled and responsible — in line with the brand’s sustainable mission.
The heart remains the same — literally. The heart-shaped logo, discreetly embossed on the upper, accompanies a silhouette with a clean, confident design that plays on the contrast between the black sole and the glossy surface in shades of pink, yellow, and black. It’s a balance between nostalgia and modernity, between the heritage of pop design and the pursuit of lightness, as creative director Francesca Murri explains: “Love Boots are a gesture of affection toward our past and a wink to the future. They carry the same irony and optimism as always, but they speak a new language — one made of movement and freedom.”

In a landscape where the ’70s revival has become a shared language, Fiorucci still manages to stand out — turning vintage into new energy, with the same desire to surprise as back then.
