After the collaboration with Fnatic, one of the main European eSports teams, Gucci expands its presence in the gaming world thanks to the upcoming capsule collection in collaboration with the Los Angeles-based gaming and apparel brand 100 Thieves.
Through a teaser video published on the gaming company’s Twitter account, the partnership between the two companies was presented, which is based on the reconstruction of classic sports items such as jerseys, rugby shirts and hoodies, through the aesthetic codes typical of the maison directed by Alessandro Michele.
“Drawing on the shared values of freedom and self-expression, the House unveils its latest foray into the world of esports through a collaboration with 100 Thieves”, Gucci said in a statement.
100 Thieves was born in 2017 from the mind of professional gamer Matthew Haag immediately positioning itself very high in the eSports and lifestyle market. The gamers that are part of the collective have participated as a team in Call of Duty, Fortnite and League of Legends.
