This new Seoul store of the Italian fashion house takes its name from the Korean word ‘gaok’ which means ‘traditional house’. It is located in the innovative and eclectic Itaewon district and celebrates its diverse heritage of inclusiveness and tradition.

The facade, designed by renowned artist SeungMo Park, is inspired by an imaginary forest. Park explores the interplay between light and shadow, and the application of layers of wire mesh is symbolic of the boundaries between what is real and what is an illusion. Reflecting on the environmental issues of our time, the artist expresses the existence and non-existence of nature, her concerns of what can be lost, leaving only the illusion of what could be saved.
The space inside feels comfortable and the warm environment welcomes visitors, providing a unique experience for the customer.

The GUCCI GAOK houses a wide selection of ready-to-wear, handbags, luggage, accessories, shoes, jewelry and Gucci Décor, as well as exclusive collections including a special line of accessories featuring the archival Baiadera print combined with the GG motif.
