About three months ago, we announced the imminent arrival of one of the most unexpected collaborations of the year, between Gucci and The North Face.
Today, the Italian fashion house and the American outdoor brand unveiled their extensive 1970s-inspired collaborative collection, which includes everything from ready-to-wear and footwear to sleeping bags and camping tents.
A search for himself that mixes natural exploration with the now constant attention to sustainability issues, a focus on which both brands involved have been concentrating for some time.
Down jackets and bomber jackets based on The North Face models from the 1970s, T-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets featuring the co-branded logo and a hiking boot in three different colors are the main items in the collection.
The The North Face x Gucci collection will be initially released only on the Chinese market on December 29th, while it will be available on the Italian fashion house’s webstore in January. Starting on December 23rd, however, there will be a special online draw for early access to the collection in certain countries on Gucci.com.
