“Luminothérapie” is Quebec’s largest competition in the field of temporary public installations.
A special competition that has been going on for ten years now and this year the festival is presenting itself in a special guise, starting with the title: Cœur battant, beating heart. A tribute to artists and art workers in general penalized by this strange year.
This year Luminothérapie will deliver something different to the city and its visitors. All the beautiful works can be found at the Quartier des Spectacles, five installations visible until March 14.
The most striking is “Loop”, the large installation created by Olivier Girouard, Jonathan Villaneuve and Ottoblix a huge zootropium, a precursor of the cinema projection machine that looks like a large music box full of music, lights and special effects.
Here now we leave to you the photos of the installations that have impressed us most.
