Fifty years after its release, Jaws still sends chills down generations of moviegoers every time that iconic duuun dun… duuun dun… theme plays. But this time, there’s nothing to fear: the most legendary sea monster in cinematic history returns as a Hot Wheels collectible, in a special edition set that’s pure joy for collectors and nostalgic fans alike.

Called the Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Jaws Set, this miniature diorama meticulously recreates one of the most intense moments of Spielberg’s film. Starring the iconic Orca fishing boat—where the film’s climax unfolds—and the massive great white shark bursting from the water mid-attack. Everything is packaged in a display-worthy box inspired by the ’70s, featuring molded plastic waves, a mini figure on deck, and a vintage-style pop-up poster that transforms the packaging into a tiny cinematic set.

The set is scheduled to launch on July 24 at a price of $32 USD and will be available exclusively through the Mattel Creations website, with a strict limit of two units per customer.

This Hot Wheels tribute isn’t just a toy—it’s a collector’s item that fuses cinema, design, and pop culture in one powerful punch. A small-scale 1:64 masterpiece that manages to capture the full epic spirit of a film that forever changed the blockbuster landscape. If you grew up believing “you’re never really safe in the water,” you already know what to do.
