By now we’ve known for a while, Lady Gaga and Adam Driver will protagonists in Ridley Scott’s new film, “House of Gucci”, which tells the story of the Gucci family and the murder of Maurizio commissioned by his wife Patrizia Reggiani on March 27th, 1995. A few weeks ago, the former Mrs. Gucci was finally sentenced to 26 years in prison as the instigator, 17 of which have already been served.
In the role of Patrizia Reggiani there will be Lady Gaga, while Adam Driver will play her husband Maurizio Gucci, president of the family maison from 1983 to 1993.
The film is based on the book House of Gucci: A sensational story of murder, madness, glamour and greed by Sara Gay Forden and features actors such as Jeremy Irons, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Jared Leto in the cast.
The filming of the movie is still in progress and is taking place between Rome, Milan (where it is being shot right now), Como and Gressoney in Valle d’Aosta, at the foot of the Monte Rosa.
During the filming in the renowned resort town, a beautiful photo was taken of the two protagonists in the role of Patrizia Reggiani and Maurizio Gucci.
Yesterday evening Lady Gaga posted the photo on her Instagram account, accompanied by the caption “Signore e Signora Gucci #HouseOfGucci” giving us the first official shot of the film.
Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci”, starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver, is expected to hit theaters on November 24th.
