“Urban Utility,” the FW21 capsule of The North Face Urban Exploration

The North Face Urban Exploration has unveiled the FW21 “Urban Utility” capsule consisting of a series of 3 jackets called “Dialogue with Urban Exploration”.

One of the characteristics of this capsule is the palette of soft and natural colors such as khaki, dark blue, olive green and purple that fits perfectly in what is the urban landscape but also performs well in outdoor contexts.

The standout feature of this new capsule is a ten-pocket jacket in DryVent waterproof fabric, featuring straps and buckles that mix functionality and aesthetics, but that’s not all.

Inside the lining of the jacket we find a small poem that recalls an interview given by Kenneth “Hap” Klopp in which the co-founder of TNF refers to Jack Kerouac’s masterpiece “On the Road”. The poem recounts the desire one feels towards wild and inaccessible mountain landscapes, perfectly reflecting the spirit of exploration that has distinguished The North Face since its foundation.

The FW21 “Urban Utility” capsule will be available in The North Face stores beginning August 1st.
