I Am the Night is the new TNT produced TV series of the Suspense Collection, a new section of the channel where quality shows and noir inspiration combine to shape a unique product. We have already seen it in the Alienist, the series distributed by Netflix some months ago. This time the story will portray some real events that shocked Americain the middle of the past century. I Am the Night tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was abandoned at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the unbelievable secrets of her past, she meets a wrecked reporter (Chris Pine), haunted by the events that undid him. Together they both follow a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to the infamous Dr. George Hodel a gynecologist involved in some of Hollywood’s darkest debauchery and possibly it’s most nefarious unsolved crime case.
The tv show is directed by Patty Jenkins, who recently directed Wonderwoman. We don’t have an official date of release but we know that we will see this show during 2019.
