Our body must be beautiful. This is what advertising tells us, what the media shows us, what stylists impose on us.
But beauty is an illusion, it is a set of lights, well-chosen angles, and touch, or palate, of photoshop.
This is what Gracie Hagen wants to show us with her photographic project Illusions of the body.
That the body is the strongest and most wonderful gift we have. That there are no limits of age, gender or ethnicity. That we are all beautiful and horrible at the same time.
