Jeff Nishinaka is an American paper artist who creates monochrome relief paper sculptures.

Born in Los Angeles in 1958, graduated from the prestigious “Art Center College of Design” in Pasadena, Nishinaka is one of the greatest “paper sculptors” in the world. Paper became Nishinaka’s medium of choice as an art student.

His works (some larger than 6 meters) can even take months to work. From ethereal lines in a mythical creature to geometric shapes in a cityscape, Nishinaka draws from fantasy and reality to create monochromatic objects in relief.
