Creative directors Lucie and Luke Meier, thanks to the Jil Sander+ sub-label – the line dedicated to outdoor and performance launched in 2019 – have succeeded in the difficult task of incorporating the functional structure of Arc’teryx garments, with the fluid tailoring that characterizes the OTB Group.
A ski caspule collection, for this Fall/Winter 2021, consisting of three jackets (one for men, one for women and one unisex), a dungaree and a jumpsuit.
Technical fabrics such as GORE-TEX PRO dedicated to professionals and outdoor enthusiasts – are superimposed on wind and water resistant leather, asymmetrical zippers and interiors that follow the lines of the body, giving the garments of the collection new shapes and making us discover new silhouettes.
The color palette used reflects the minimalism shared by Arc’teryx and Jil Sander+ and features classic white, black and blue-grey inspired by glaciers.
To accompany this collaboration a short film was produced by director and photographer Stephen Kidd with music by Norwegian musician Geir Jenssen aka Biosphere.
The Jil Sander+ x Arc’teryx capsule collection will be available starting tomorrow, November 10, online on the Jil Sander and Arc’teryx websites, in the physical stores of the two brands and in select retailers.
