11 years after the first time, German designer Jil Sander and Japanese fast fashion giant UNIQLO have announced that they will collaborate again.
The collection will be called +J, reflecting Sander’s typical aesthetic based on minimalism and understatement and will feature male and female items.
The launch of the collection, scheduled for the fall 2020, was anticipated by Sander through an interview with UNIQLO Life Wear magazine, in which she told about the philosophy applied to her work and the basis of her creativity: “I do not work with visions or muses, neither with a mood board only. My creativity relies on the fitting and experimenting with fabrics. I exclude and at the same time push in certain directions. As I said, my eyes are fine-tuned to the emerging shape”.
We will continue to keep you updated on all the news of the new collaboration between Jil Sander and UNIQLO.
