“The Hive Project”, the house inspired by a beehive

When Gianluca Santosuosso started to design “The Hive Project” he asked himself: “How would nature respond to this short period of time?
Nature would create something simple, efficient, adaptable, resistant, but also beautiful. His answer would be the result of slow evolutionary cycles
.

Thus was born “The Hive Project” – Human-Inclusive & Versatile Ecosystem. Considering the new challenges that our society will face in the coming decades, “The Hive Project” focuses on social cohesion and the regeneration of nature as two key criteria.

Our ambition is to introduce a “new ecology of the place” in which our presence does not damage the ecosystem but enriches, supports and benefits from its regeneration.

From a simple hive was born the idea of the Italian architect, designing the perfect hexagons created by bees as a perfect living solution.
HIVE combines the properties of the honeycomb with the shape of the archetypal house and creates a new type of hybrid living space that combines the efficiency of nature with the ingenuity of man.

The design creates a unique, biophilic and customizable home with a 100% sustainable green soul. The flexibility of the modular system of the hive allows a huge customization, so that people adapt their home to the specific needs of circulation, accessibility, lifestyle.
