The Jordan Brand x Travis Scott campaign with Rip Hamilton

On the occasion of his birthday (tomorrow April 30th), Travis Scott will launch his latest collaboration with Jordan Brand. In addition to the Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki”, a selection of new items resulting from this partnership will also be released.

To accompany this launch, the Houston rapper and Jordan’s team created a campaign starring Detroit Pistons legend Richard “Rip” Hamilton

During the 2003-2004 season Hamilton fractured his nose, twice, and as a result he was advised by the medical staff to wear a protective mask. That mask became his hallmark for the rest of his career. The Pistons, led on the bench by Larry Brown, won the NBA title that year beating Kobe Bryant’s Lakers 4-1.

This campaign represents yet another major team-up for Cactus Jack after Randy Moss for the “Olives” and actor and former wrestler Mick Foley for the Air Max 270 React.

In the video, the former Pistons star is in an isolated playground in the desert as he prepares to shoot a free throw following what was his classic routine when he played and wearing hoodie, vest, pants and sneakers from the new collaboration between La Flame and Jordan Brand.

The official release of the Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki” and the Jordan Brand x Travis Scott collection is scheduled for tomorrow April 30, while here you can read the interview given by Rip Hamilton to the Jumpman team on the occasion of the campaign in which he is the protagonist.
