Dinara Kasko is a Ukrainian culinary artist known for her innovative tarts halfway between pastry and architecture.
She graduated from the Kharkov University Architecture School and found her true passion in pastry and in the infinite ways she can find to create something new.
Using the 3D modeling program 3DSMAX, she has created, in collaboration with José Margulis, some incredible tarts that resume the work of the American artist who works with geometric abstractionism and kinetic art.
José forms his 3D sculptures from layers of colored sheets, creating a geometric pattern that changes depending on the angle of view.
Ours is a performative installation in which José’s art has been transformed into an eatable work that can disappear.
The Kinetic Tarts are in fact, despite their sculptural appearance, absolutely eatable and made in large part of chocolate, sponge cake and mascarpone.
