The Antwerp Fashion Department, founded in 1963, is a cradle of talent devoted to innovation and research that came to the fore thanks to the Antwerp Six.
Dirk Van Saene, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Marina Yee, Dirk Bikkembergs and Walter Van Beirendonck, now head of the department, were just the forerunners of a reality that continues to give life to names such as Demna Gvasalia, Kris Van Assche, Haider Ackermann and Peter Pilotto.

This creative hub also includes KOMONO, a brand founded by Raf Maes and Anton Janssens, which in partnership with the Royal Academy, has worked with some Master students to create an innovative and revolutionary Capsule Collection.

All the eyewear models, created during some dedicated workshops, were created by the students in total freedom, focusing in particular on shapes, colour combinations and treatment of materials.
