Lauren YS is an artist originally from Los Angeles whose journey has been shaped by various geographical and artistic influences. With a background spanning academia, literature, writing, teaching, illustration, and animation, Lauren found her true calling in street art. Dreams, mythology, death, comics, love, sex, psychedelia, animation – along with her Asian-American cultural roots – form the foundation of her creative expression.


Lauren participated in an artist residency and held a solo exhibition at Nychos’ Rabbit Eye Movement studio in Vienna. Since then, she has showcased her work and performed live paintings at numerous festivals and international art institutions.


Notable events include Art Basel Miami, Pow! Wow! Hawaii, PangeaSeed SeaWalls in New Zealand, Pow! Wow! Long Beach, and the Wallskar Festival in China. Her murals grace prestigious locations such as the Long Beach Museum of Art and the World Trade Center in New York. Additionally, Lauren has exhibited in galleries across the United States and in international cities like Vienna, New York, London, Tokyo, and Melbourne.
