You know that beautiful TV show you’ve always wanted to watch but too much long? What better time to catch up than this.
Here are the longest and most beautiful TV series according to us.Â
Doctor Who – 17 days and a half Â

With its 852 episodes, Doctor Who is the longest TV series of all and, started in 1963 and still ongoing today, is also the longest ever. It must be pointed out, however, that although its success, even this series has suffered some setbacks. In fact, time and space travel in The Doctor stopped from 1993 to 2005.
In all these years the Doctor has undergone 13 regenerations, changing interpreter every time, from David Tennant to Peter Capaldi, arriving to today’s Jodie Whittaker. Ready for the ultimate science fiction adventure?!
NCIS – 11 days and a half Â
Lovers of the detective genre, beware! When we talk about NCIS we are talking about the most watched TV series in the United States, with an average of over 20 million viewers per episode. With a well-assorted cast, intriguing cases with which the lives and personal stories of agents are intertwined, this series will certainly not bore you, in fact, it will make you want to watch the two equally successful spin-offs NCIS – Los Angeles and NCIS – New Orleans.Â
Dallas – 11 days and a half Â
Let’s move on to a timeless masterpiece, a great classic. Dallas is perhaps the first great TV series and given its age – it aired from 1978 to 1991 – surely many of you have missed it. In the ’80s it managed to capture the attention of millions of people around the world and although it has that patina typical of soap operas of that period, the narrative structure of Dallas is more current than ever.
ER – 10 days and a half
We now arrive in Chicago, more precisely in the emergency department of the university polyclinic. Guilty of launching George Clooney‘s career and making the female audience fall in love with the charming Dr. Doug Ross, E.R. opened the way for a whole genre. The series created by Michael Crichton and produced by Steven Spielberg is a real gem in the vast world of television shows set in hospitals.Â
Grey’s Anatomy – 10 days and a half Â

Hanging on to what we just said, Grey’s Anatomy is indeed the child of ER and his success. The tagline of the show “Operations. Relations. Complications.” perfectly sums up what you’ll find yourself looking at. What should we add? If when your friends mention Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd’s names and you don’t know what they’re referring to, maybe it’s time to catch up.
The Simpsons – 10 days and a halfÂ
Drama and mystery are not for you? Don’t panic. America’s most famous family is ready to keep you company for a while. You can start at the beginning, the very first episode, or even choose to watch them randomly without worrying about the order of exit.Â
Sit comfortably on the couch with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and little Maggie, and you’ll immediately feel like family and home.

Law & Order – 6 days and a halfÂ

Let’s go back to the detective genre with another great worldwide success. With no breaks, you’ll need just under a week to watch all of Law & Order. Of course, the topics covered will perhaps force you to relax for a few hours to catch your breath, because unlike other TV shows of this kind, there are almost exclusively sex crimes at the center of this series. A good punch in the stomach that will surely distract you.
Lost – 5 days and a halfÂ
Forget about crime and hospitals for a moment and think you have survived a plane crash and suddenly find yourself on an uninhabited island in the middle of the ocean. What could go wrong? Everything.
Lost is considered by many to be the best TV series of all time (personally I quite agree), with several narrative lines that fit together perfectly. Besides, how can you live without ever having seen the ending of Lost?
The Big Bang Theory – 4 daysÂ

Two or three laughs never hurt and if you can do them with the whole family then much better. The Big Bang Theory has kept its audience company for 12 years. Few characters but cleverly studied and played by excellent actors, simple and static sets and a quantity of lines and situations at the limit of the absurd never seen before.
Friends – 3 days and a halfÂ
Here’s another show that never goes out of style. Ross, Chandler, Joey, Rachel, Monica and Phoebe are always ready to join us. It’s possible that the very young may have missed this masterpiece of the 90s, but in view of the reunion announced by HBO Max maybe it’s time to catch up. If you don’t feel up to almost 4 days of binge watching, the 20-minute episodes are great for coffee breaks.

Game of Thrones – 3 days

Intrigue, love stories, duels to the death, mysterious legends and truly unique characters. The series-event signed HBO does not miss anything and will help you to disconnect for a few hours from reality and land directly into the fantastic world born from the mind of George R. R. Martin. Where would you like to be? In Winterfell or in the warm King’s Landing, on the other side of the Narrow Sea, in Essos or almost forgotten beyond the Wall?
The Sopranos – 3 daysÂ
We conclude with another great masterpiece that has marked the history of the small screen, bringing for the first time in the homes of millions of viewers an anti-hero. Surprisingly, you will discover that you have much more in common with Tony Soprano than with all the other characters, even ending up feeling a certain compassion for him. If you can’t live without Martin Scorsese’s gangster movies and world, the Sopranos could easily become your ideal family.
