Lovegang is expanding its influence in the international rap scene with a new project. This time, the brand flies to New York, focusing on Queens, the hometown of Rome Streetz – an artist who captured attention in 2016 with his debut mixtape I Been Thru Mad Shit and who recently joined the prestigious underground label Griselda Records. This collaboration with Rome Streetz – available since yesterday – comes a year after Procall, the track for which Lovegang handled the production of the music video in Rome.
The inspiration for this new initiative, called Deep Cuts, comes from the atmosphere and talent of Rome Streetz. The term Deep Cuts refers to an artist’s lesser-known works, thus offering a unique and in-depth perspective. «Collaborating with artists we admire is a great source of pride for us. Strengthening our bond with Rome Streetz and with a culturally significant city like New York is an honor,» says Filippo Lancellotti, CEO of Lovegang. This announcement is part of a broader project aimed at developing and strengthening the connection between Rome and New York, a connection that Lovegang has already begun to explore and intends to further deepen in the future.
