Artist Maisie Cousins shots unconventional photographs.
Photos where the idea of beauty and disgust mix together to overturn the meaning of nudity, femininity and nature.

Her goal is to give the viewer an experience that can engage all the senses and, in order to do that, she has collaborated with Azzi Glasser, who for her has created several fragrances to be sniffed during the vision of the shots.

Maisie paints the different sides of nature by ignoring only and exclusively the stereotypes of beauty and, indeed, paying attention to details generally called “ugly” or “weird”.
With her experimental approach, Cousins wants to evoke conflicting feelings, disgust and attraction, annoyance and love, fear and inability to look away.

All the elements that have become her style signature and that have allowed her to access galleries like the Tate Britain.
