Some time ago we presented the collaboration between MM6 Maison Margiela and The North Face and now the two labels have finally market the collection.
The work was based on the TNF line, Expedition System, launched in 1990 and characterized by a structure of detachable and stackable layers designed specifically to face the most difficult climatic conditions.
Deconstruction, reconstruction and circularity, these are the concepts on which MM6 and The North Face have developed for this collaborative collection that cancels the ideals of gender and mixes outerwear and high fashion, a trend that has also prompted Gucci to collaborate with the brand founded in 1965 by the millionaire ecologist Douglas Tompkins.
Aesthetics 90’s also in the color palette used where we find purple, cobalt blue, bottle green, red, orange and yellow.
The entire collection MM6 x The North Face, which you can see below, is available on the Maison Margiela webstore.
