The American rapper Aminé is bringing color back to Portland with a collaboration that feels straight out of his playful, visionary world. Together with New Balance, the rapper has designed a sneaker destined to become a small cult object: the Best Day Ever Biblioteca 2000s, a multicolor shoe with glow-in-the-dark details, produced in just 100 pairs. It’s a direct tribute to his creative collective Club Banana, referenced by the embossed branding on the tongue.

The drop is anything but conventional and will take place during the Best Day Ever Fest, scheduled in Portland on September 13–14. Here, fans will find a dedicated book drop station, where it will be possible to pre-order the Green Biblioteca 2000s version and secure at least one pair.
