Nike and Martine Rose step into the world of gaming with a new one-of-a-kind collection. In this new partnership, the duo expands their creative universe by celebrating gamers as the athletes of a new arena — one defined by focus, skill, and pure creative energy.

Sports aesthetics meet digital culture in a collection that redefines the very idea of performance. The pieces — designed for the contemporary athlete who is connected, competitive, and free in expression — merge Nike’s legacy with Martine Rose’s distinctive visual language. The result is a fluid wardrobe that moves between sport, streetwear, and the virtual world: football kits, hoodies, fleece pants, and a parka inspired by the ‘90s ACG jackets, reimagined with a technical, genderless twist.

Among the most iconic pieces is the return of the Shox MR4, a radical reinterpretation of the classic Shox R4: a silhouette stretched into a mule with an elevated heel and squared toe — a hybrid between performance and tailoring, and the perfect symbol of Martine Rose’s aesthetic.

The inspiration comes from ‘90s LAN parties — when gaming was a collective, physical, and noisy ritual. Martine reimagines that energy through the lens of fashion, blending nostalgia with innovation. “Gaming is a new lens through which to view sport,” the designer explains in the launch press release. “I’m interested in exploring the edges of mainstream culture and illuminating them through fashion. With Nike, I can do that authentically, close to the communities that represent this world.”

The campaign, directed by Martine Rose herself, transforms gamers into true digital athletes. Figures like Ana Dumbravă, Billy Mitchell, Scarlett, SonicFox, and TenZ become protagonists of a visual narrative that references vintage ‘90s sports photography — full of sweat, pixels, and the glow of screens.

Skill over status. Individuality over conformity. Expression over everything. That’s the mantra defining the collaboration — an invitation to rethink sport as an inclusive, open space where talent and creativity matter above all else. The Nike x Martine Rose Sport 2025 collection will be available from October 30 on nike.com and at selected retailers worldwide.
