Nike On Air tells the past, present, and future

Anna Frattini

Nike chose Paris – the city of sport par excellence in anticipation of the upcoming Olympics – for Nike On Air, the event where the Swoosh brand showcased this summer’s innovations and beyond. Forty athletes were involved in this occasion, and welcoming the guests, from the entrance, were six statues. These included LeBron James, Alexia Putellas, our own Bebe Vio, Kylian Mbappe, Sha’Carri Richardson, and Victor Wembanyama. This project had already been on display since April 3, where passersby were all invited to see and interact with these statues, created also thanks to Artificial Intelligence.

During the event held the day before yesterday, April 10, Nike retraced – through immersive and sensory experiences – all the innovations that continue to make history in the sports industry, including its proprietary Air Technology. There were also the past and future of Nike to tell the secret of the success of a brand that continues to be a leader in the sportswear sector.
