Notel, the Melbourne Boutique Hotel Made of Trailers

In the heart of Melbourne’s business district, perched on one of those rooftops with an unbeatable view, Notel has opened—one of the most original boutique hotels ever seen.

A hidden entrance reveals a different kind of campsite: an atypical, five-star experience. Notel isn’t a traditional hotel—here, guests sleep in vintage trailers.

The design of these fantastic Airstream trailers was carefully crafted by architect Edwards Moore and meticulously planned by FMSA Architecture. Stepping into each room, the atmosphere is pure science fiction, inspired by two iconic films: Logan’s Run and 2001: A Space Odyssey, both deeply rooted in the mythical culture of the 1970s.

These luxurious trailers, far removed from the typical camping image, offer every comfort—including an iPad with a must-have Netflix subscription. From above, the city center has never looked so small; from inside, the trailer has never offered horizons so wide.

Now, take two weeks off, book a flight to Australia, and visit their site to find your perfect Airstream.

C’mon, the trailer doors are open.
