When two brands with strong identities come together, the result is never just a simple collaboration. With OBEY x Paraboot, the brand founded by Shepard Fairey and the historic French footwear label create a dialogue between counterculture and craftsmanship, giving life to a capsule that combines rebellious attitude with manufacturing tradition.

At the center of the project is the Montana model, a silhouette that recalls 1970s climbing shoes and is reinterpreted through OBEY’s distinctive aesthetic. The tumbled leather upper preserves Paraboot’s signature artisanal approach, while the tongue features the Icon Face, the iconic symbol created by Shepard Fairey that has become one of the most recognizable emblems of contemporary street culture. Completing the design is chartreuse stitching, a subtle yet meaningful color detail that references the landscape and roots of the French brand.

Alongside the footwear, the capsule extends into a selection of premium apparel inspired by the aesthetics of American baseball, reworked through a more essential and contemporary sensibility. The striped Bochy Embroidered Shirt brings together embroidery and graphic details from both brands, while the roomy Kranks Tee, with its bold graphic language, channels the energy of the most passionate fans into an everyday garment. Completing the collection are the Lanceur trousers, cut straight and finished with pleats, acting as a balancing element across the entire capsule.

Visually narrating the collaboration is the Noiseless Ascent campaign, set inside the Paraboot factory and built around an industrial, experimental imagery. Its atmosphere recalls the New York art and music scene of the 1970s, where harsh lighting and production spaces become the backdrop for telling the story of the meeting between OBEY’s punk attitude and the enduring strength of French craftsmanship.
