The Danish furniture brand OMHU has unveiled a new limited edition of its most iconic sofa, TEDDY, reimagined in an original Zebra fabric that brings a bolder, more graphic dimension to the collection.

With this release, OMHU moves away from its traditional monochromatic palette to introduce a more assertive variation, designed to break the monotony of contemporary interiors. The high-contrast zebra pattern turns TEDDY into a visually dominant piece, capable of redefining the atmosphere of a room without sacrificing the softness and low-profile silhouette that define the original design.

To accompany the launch, the brand created a video campaign directed by AI visionary Sally Trier and produced by OMHU’s in-house agency. The film plays with an ironic parallel between home decor and the internet’s obsession with extreme dog makeovers, highlighting how a bold aesthetic choice can completely transform the perception of a space. The result is a light yet provocative narrative that invites viewers to reconsider the role of design in everyday life.

TEDDY, after all, is already an object designed to adapt to different scenarios. The sofa stands out for its minimal construction and the absence of traditional legs or complex metal mechanisms, favoring an essential and intuitive structure. This design simplicity allows it to be easily transformed into a spacious double bed or into a sort of conversation pit, making it a multifunctional element conceived for increasingly fluid domestic spaces.

The introduction of the Zebra fabric marks the model’s first move into patterned territory, adding a more expressive dimension to an object already appreciated for its practicality. The combination of classic comfort and bold graphics creates an interesting balance, where functionality meets a more distinctive personality.
