Panal House is a home designed by Estudio Dikenstein Arquitectos in Chile, close to the beach and overlooking the Pacific Ocean near the village of Matanzas. 

The house is a sort of refuge for anyone who wants to spend time enjoying the landscape and away from the city. Panal House is made up of two blocks, a square block forming the upper floor and a smaller, irregular block forming the lower floor.
The decision to use two different floor plans is due to the desire to adapt the structure to the wall of the hill on which it is built. With a 55% slope, the challenge was to make a completely safe house, with a view of the ocean and sheltered from the strong winds blowing from the north. 

Although the Panal House appears to be leaning against the ground, a structure of steel and timber elements hold it firmly to the rock. The same two elements are found inside, where the contrast created by the light wood and black steel is broken only by red furnishings. 

The entrance to the house is on the upper floor, where there is a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom and a guest room, while the lower floor is completely dedicated to the master bedroom with its own bathroom.

Each level has the most exposed wall covered by a wooden honeycomb structure that serves both to provide privacy for the tenants and above all to absorb the force of the winds on the structure. On the other hand, the walls facing the sea are made up of large windows that allow the view to be enjoyed at any time of day.
