While the images seem to exalt the beauty of American urban landscape, with its colorful signage and well-groomed homes, the artist is actually pointing fingers to the profound moral failure of a nation that has lost its way of appearance.

The project is accompanied by a long poem that explains the true view of the artist. In fact, Laura Berson exploits the multiple facets of art to tell a story built on multiple levels: a more visible one related to a typical pop aesthetic of the United States and a symbolic one to its American history and lifestyle.
