The car will be powered by two PSM permanently excited synchronous electric motors, capable of delivering a maximum power of 600 hp. It has projected performances of 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and 0-200 in less than 12 seconds. Maximum speed will be limited to 250 km/h. Its autonomy range will be over 500 km and, Zuffenhausen claims, the battery is charged to 80% in just 15 minutes.
From now to 2022, Porsche will invest six billion dollars – twice of the originally planned amount – on the production of Taycan electrified variants, on the update of the production lines and on the installation of infrastructures dedicated to re-charging and smart mobility. Taycan’s development will create 1200 new jobs.
Carhartt WIP presents The Village Cry, the new capsule collection for the Fall/Winter 2018 collection.
The name takes up that of the magazine created in 1976 by the photographer Beat Presser, which in turn was based on the theory of the global village of the sociologist Marshall McLuhan. Beat and his partner Rolf Paltzer published seven issues of the magazine, which allowed artists from different countries and disciplines to create interesting content, from photography to architecture.
The Village Cry has allowed young creatives to make their voices heard, forming over time a veritable treasure of images and works of different kinds.
Forty years after the latest issue, Carhartt WIP has created a t-shirt collection by reprinting a selection of photographs, illustrations, and slogans by Beat Presser on t-shirts and hoodies.
The Village Cry will be available today, September 6, in all Carhartt WIP stores and authorized retailers.
To date, I do not remember having spent a week without reading some news about Mr. Kanye West.
Music, fashion, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Twitter, are his bread and butter and, now, Pornhub too.
After his famous statement at Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Nah, I still look at Pornhub,” in response to the presenter who wanted to know how his relationship with women had changed after the birth of his daughter, Kanye decided to become the creative director of the first Pornhub Award, taking care of the clothes worn by guests, designing the awards, previewing his new single with Lil Pump, and, of course, also making the official merchandise.
The YEEZY x Pornhub collection includes 5 long-sleeve T-shirts representing some of the prizes awarded during the evening, with the name of the porno star who won it.
An NSFW collection with which you could shout to the world that Mia Malkowa has the most sensual ass of porn and that Lena Paul is the “Top Big Tits Performer“.
At this point, you can also take a look at the “I love it” video, directed by Oscar-winning director Spike Jonze.
I should be surprised by all this, but no, I’m not.
The work has followed “Repair” theme, promoted by the artistic event with a press release that explains how architecture can “play a role in the repair of the places to which it belongs” and create new solutions for the future. The installation extends itself over a large part of the pavilion to its outer space, with pedestrian crossings that allow viewers to move among the 65 species of plants from the western plains.
Considering that only one percent of grasslands of the mid-18th century federated state of Victoria still exists, due to the massive urbanization, the artist decided to visually and realistically show the actual space occupied by vegetation. As she explains:
“The area of plants exhibited is similar to that taken up by the pavilion, it is also a smaller area than that of an average Australian family house. Such an area takes around an hour to bulldoze.”
The garden in the pavilion uses LEDs as a source of artificial light because the walls and ceiling of the structure block the sun. Throughout the Biennale films exploring the theme of Repair are projected onto the walls, including “Ground”, by Baracco + Wright and Tegg in collaboration with David Fox. The garden wants to be able to arouse awareness in the viewer, to show the real damage of policies and production systems that need a drastic change.
This weekend marked the climax of one of the best editions of the Venice Film Festival. Many films were expected: some managed by famous directors, others by emerging ones. The jury, chaired by the Mexican Guillermo Del Toro, has crowned Rome, the latest work of compatriot Cuaròn, as best film. Despite this, there have been numerous movies which have earned our sympathy. Today we will talk about three of them.
Here, in our opinion, are the revelations of the 75th edition of the Festival.
The announcement: this film, directed by the Turk Mahmut Fazil Coskun, narrates the deeds of four soldiers who decide to carry out a coup. The movie is a well-balanced hybrid between a thriller and a comedy. Violent scenes are in fact followed by deeply comic dialogues, creating a disorienting effect. All this is framed by a superb photography in which well-managed spaces play a fundamental role both for narration and the spectators’ mere visual pleasure. This film won the special jury’s prize in the Orizzonti section, but we do not know when it will bè available in Italian cinemas.
Capri-Revolution: This film directed by Mario Martone (known above all for Il Giovane Favoloso) is set in a chaotic Italy that is preparing to enter the First World War. It’s the story of the meeting between a group of North European painters, a goat shepherd and the doctor of the village. The film, which is inspired by the life of the painter Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach, is centered more on the anthropological aspect than on the artistic one, focusing the attention on the development of relationships among humans. Capri Revolution has won several prizes, including the Pasinetti Prize (national union of Italian cinema journalists) and the Soundtrack stars award (best soundtrack).
At Eternity’s Gate: the last years of the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh‘s life, are directed by Julian Schnabel (Famous for Le Scaphandre et le Papillon, Before Night Falls and Basquiat). The artist is performed by a fantastic (and also very similar) Willem Dafoe who has won the Coppa Volpi as the best male actor for his outstanding interpretation. At Eternity’s Gate is a magical journey in the mind of one of the most talked about, famous and brilliant artists of modern time.
